The most controversial truth is often spoken on behalf of the most vulnerable. It is controversial because society—the system, call it what you will—revels in preying on the weak.

Similar to how school bullies victimize the frail and intimidate everyone else into doing nothing about it, our overbearing big tech/government cabal exploits the indefensible and antagonizes the rest of us into shameful silence. Control can only be maintained for as long as those with voices are too afraid to use them. If everyone stood up for the unborn, abortion would end. If gender reassignment were vehemently opposed, the horrors of “child mutilation” would cease. Instead, those with voices tend to try to save their voices. “I might lose my platform if I spoke up; I might jeopardize my future,” we rationalize. We go through life vaguely aware that children are being slaughtered and carved up but largely blind—willfully blind—to the true horrors of these grim, uncomfortable realities.

In doing this, whether we realize it or not, we are handing the bully his victory. We are letting him win because he set out to shut us up, and we have let him do exactly that. Worse, we have become pawns in his hand; useful idiots. He can keep on killing and mutilating kids not merely by virtue of our nonintervention but with our help.

Fortunately, there are a few—what seems to be an ever-dwindling few, but a remnant, nonetheless—bold enough to scream the truth no matter the cost. These fearless social apologists have suffered censorship, muzzled voices, demonetization, and demonization, yet keep preaching.

Of course, I am referring largely to the folks at The Daily Wire (although there certainly are others). Ben Shapiro’s gutsy gang of “propagandists,” including Matt Walsh, Jeremy Boreing, Candace Owens, Jordan Peterson, and more, have all paid dearly simply for participating in one of the most important debates of our age: the trans debate.

If anything, it should be those who advocate for allowing minors to mutilate their healthy bodies whose harmful influences are suppressed. Rather, those who are against the horrendous practice, and sound the alarm about it, are ostracized and punished. Consequently, the real victims are not the Daily Wire hosts at all but those they seek to protect.

“The ability to openly debate political ideas, even those that are controversial… is core to a functioning democratic society,” YouTube insists. Evidently, this commitment does not apply to common sense thinkers hateful bigots who believe that kids, who cannot consent, should not be allowed to castrate themselves.

“In the last 90 days, our accounts have received 104 violations for “Hateful and Derogatory” content [on YouTube], earning them “limited monetization,” tweeted CEO Jeremy Boreing. Matt Walsh was completely demonetized. Candace Owens and Michael Knowles were both suspended. Even Jordan Peterson’s “professional analysis” earned him a strike and was banned. “Nearly every one of these violations comes from our coverage of the trans debate,” Boreing noted.

“Over 25% of the US population gets its news from YouTube,” he continued, “and The Daily Wire is one of the largest news brands in the space. Last week, our accounts had over 157M views…. That’s over 20M views a day. Yet we are on the verge of losing access to the platform.”

To be clear, this is not just some niche issue for Daily Wire diehards. Nor is it simply a problem of conservatives being too whiny. For anyone who cares about protecting kids from the steely grasp of left-wing gender insanity, this is an incalculably important subject.

Everywhere kids go, they are being enticed into the euphoric bliss of LGBTQ+ pride. But there is another side to the story that goes untold. If everyone who attempts to tell that critical half of the story is silenced, we will be in a dark place, indeed. Our only hope is that not even the darkness can vanquish the truth, at least not in the end. As Tucker Carlson put it in his first post-Fox video, “True things prevail…. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope.”

“There’s one thing I know for sure: The Daily Wire will keep winning,” Jeremy Boreing proclaimed. “Not because we are big enough or because we have enough money, but because we have to…. We will not stop speaking the truth, nor will we allow the left to push us into a digital ghetto, unable to reach the very audiences who most need this debate. We will adapt our strategy, evolve our model, and continue to fight. And we will win.”

For now, the bully may have the upper hand, but the intimidation-induced silence is breaking. His control is wavering. The fight ahead will not be easy, but it is winnable. And every vulnerable soul saved from the jaws of gender destruction makes it worth it.
