Midway through her race to the presidency, Hillary Clinton faces another update in her email scandal – casting further doubt on her actions during her term as Secretary of State.

Crime happens in places you least expect it. But thanks to the 2nd Amendment, some Delaware citizens are going to protect themselves from the unexpected.

It's no surprise American citizens have little faith in our federal government. The shocker comes in the overwhelming percentage of citizens who find our government corrupt.

In other words, the Donald Trump vote = the “what the hell” vote, and it’s not altogether unreasonable.

Despite the outcry of citizens all over the United States, the issue of the Syrian refugees’ resettlement remains largely unresolved — or should we say “democratically unresolved.”

Remember the Internal Revenue Service case? The one that dominated headlines, because it was one of the most egregious and ugliest examples of government overreach that has happened in our lifetimes? Well, most people think the IRS targeting scandal is dead and buried — at least so far from people's thoughts that it's no longer significant. Yet it, too, is coming back.

We complain a great deal about the ever-growing government. Here’s some great news for a change: the government actually became less restrictive in one very important way.

In movies, documents have a large, red stamp at the top: Classified. The stamped documents – which have been replaced by e-mails, phones, or thumb drives – have to be protected from the bad guys at all costs. Too bad Hillary Clinton doesn’t understand what every American moviegoer over age five knows instinctively.

In a day where we are berated by negativity from every side, where politicians show us that true trust is rare, where the federal government takes its power for granted -- we would like to remind you of the good in the hearts of the American people. Patriotism runs deep -- its in our blood -- instilled by the Founding Fathers and flamed by people of this great nation.

Gov. Greg Abbott recently called on his fellow Texans to join the push for a Convention of States. Following this plea, he readily provided his solution to our nation's ever-growing federal dilemma. Ninety-Two pages is nothing short of complete dedication -- the perfect example of what we need to turn our country around.
