It’s no surprise American citizens have little faith in our federal government. The shocker comes in the overwhelming percentage of citizens who find our government corrupt.

Rasmussen Reports shares the data collected in a recent survey:

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on January 28 and 31, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.

Numbers don’t lie.

Looking at the results of this survey only confirms our country’s need for leaders who understand democracy and the will of the people. The current administration has lost all sight of their original purpose.

Politics aside — democratic and republican agendas put on hold — with 81%, why are we not rising up as a united people to put an end to the corruption?
