They’ve done it yet again. Making more money than ever before, our government can still spend like a pro. The federal government’s tax income has gone up more than 7% this fiscal year compared to 2014. They’ve brought in $2,883,250,000,000 in the first 11 months. That’s over $19,000 per worker employed full-time or part-time. But here’s the kicker: Despite the record tax revenues of $2,883,250,000,000 in the first eleven months of this fiscal year, the government spent $3,413,210,000,000 in those eleven months, and, thus, ran up a deficit of $529,960,000,000 during the period. And our children are another $530 billion in debt. Thanks, federal “leaders.” At least they’re consistent.
