Bob Fu, a Chinese dissident, activist, founder of China Aid, and a renowned pastor, has filed a lawsuit after being harassed and targeted by a man named Guo Wengui, the billionaire owner of Beijing Zenith Holdings.

Houston-based Lanier Law Firm filed a 54 page lawsuit after Guo threatened Fu’s life via YouTube and sent protestors to Fu’s house.

“Although claiming to support the Chinese pro-democracy movement, Guo employs his vast legal, financial, and corporate resources, together with his robust social media presence, to systematically target pro-democracy and pro-religious freedom activists in the Chinese American community,” the lawsuit alleges. “Since 2018, Guo has attacked Chinese human rights activists and bona fide CCP dissidents in the United States. This year, Plaintiff Bob Fu became Guo’s latest target.”

“I want to thank again, from here, those comrades who fight in the frontlines of Canada, Los Angeles, Taiwan, Japan, New Zealand, and Eastern U.S., to kill those evil cheaters,” Guo clearly states in a Youtube clip.

These threats forced Fu and his family to be placed in protective custody.  Doesn’t sound like he supports a “pro-democracy movement” to me.

Ken Starr, who was famously the special prosecutor in the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinski case, talked to CBS7

“We have snapshots of videos, we have quotations from his videos on Twitter and the long and the short of it is — base from his base in New York he makes terrible statements that are untrue and defamatory against Pastor Fu,” said Starr.

Starr said he has no doubt they will win.

“We want to vindicate Bob Fu’s reputation which is a sterling reputation. A number of people and this is in the addendum complaint that will be available on the Internet I hope today but what of an outpouring of support for Bob Fu,” said Starr.

Censorship and threats against those with different opinions may be acceptable in China, but not here.  I’m very glad to see Fu fighting back against the evil Communist empire, once again.  By the way, Guo, he won the first time.
