Radical left-wing New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is facing backlash over suggesting the creation of an “archive” to hold President Donald Trump supporters responsible for their complicity in his politics. “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?” she tweeted.  “I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.”

Many Twitter users attacked the suggestion.

One user commented, “You have stepped out of your bounds. In America our public officials belong to the American people, we the American people do not belong to you!”

Another said, “Old Adolf would be proud of y’all following precisely in his foot steps.”

AOC replied, “Lol at the ‘party of personal responsibility’ being upset at the idea of being responsible for their behavior over last four years.”

One angry user clapped back, “Lol at the party of tolerance making lists of people to ruin,” attaching an image comparing AOC to the communist party.

The problem isn’t being held responsible. The problem is government officials threatening to punish and track conservatives for their political affiliation.

To make it worse several Democratic leaders responded to AOC by actually creating a database.

“You better believe it. We just launched the Trump Accountability Project to make sure anyone who took a paycheck to help Trump undermine America is held responsible for what they did,” former Obama presidential campaign spokesman Hari Sevugan tweeted. He linked to a website called the “Trump Accountability Project.”

CNS News reported on the matter.

Among those who have tweeted to promote the initiative in recent days are Hari Sevugan, former Obama presidential campaign spokesman, DNC press secretary, and deputy campaign manager for Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign; Michael B. Simon, an analytics expert who worked for the Obama 2008 presidential campaign; and another Buttigieg campaign team member, Emily Abrams.

Hilariously enough, several of the liberals’ tweets have since been deleted. I guess not everyone should be held accountable.

Once directed to the “let’s hold them accountable” website, you are greeted with the headline, “We must never forget those who furthered the Trump agenda.”

I’d take the “Trump agenda” over the government tracking and blacklisting us any day.
