2. Budweiser tried to make a statement on immigration but it kind of backfired

The beer company’s commercial “Born The Hard Way” retells the story of Adolphus Busch’s journey from Germany to America where he came to make great beer. When he steps of the boat after the treacherous journey, he’s greeted by angry Americans telling him to go back home and that he’s not welcome here. Because apparently, that’s how America treats all immigrants. But here’s where it backfired: the ad shows a man immigrating to America LEGALLY, the way you’re supposed to! Nice try, though.
