Those of you who are committed to the peaceful transition of power might want to sit down.

Hillary Clinton recently told Jennifer Palmieri, her former campaign communications director, that Joe Biden will “eventually” win the presidential election and should “not concede under any circumstances.”

That phrase “under any circumstances” is what sounded the alarm for many – sounds a little unAmerican, doesn’t it?  Here’s her full quote:

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is gonna’ drag out and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch.”

Normally, candidates win because “we the people” make their voices heard, not because of a fierce determination and positive thinking.  But maybe we shouldn’t expect Hillary to know how to actually win an election.

The Daily Wire has the details about the exchange:

“If it’s a close election — let’s say Biden ‘wins’ — what do you think Trump will do?” Palmieri asked Clinton.

Clinton suggested that Trump and his administration have several scenarios, one of which is “messing up absentee balloting… so that they then get a narrow advantage in the Electoral College on Election Day.”

But Hillary said the Biden campaign is preparing for a lengthy legal battle after the election.

“We’ve gotta’ have a massive legal operation, I know the Biden campaign is working on that,” Hillary said. “We have to have poll workers, and I urge people who are able to, be a poll worker. We have to have our own teams of people to counter the force of intimidation that the Republicans and Trump are going to put outside polling places. … At least we know more now about what they’re going to do.”

This is where we are in 2020 – Democrats are threatening to undermine the will of the people… and the media (usually so obsessed with election-tampering) collectively yawns in response.

Sounds about right.
