You ever feel like every time you turn on the news, all you hear is a bunch of negativity?

You’re not wrong.  In fact, a new Media Research Center reveals that 91% of media coverage pertaining to President Donald Trump over the past three months has had a negative slant.  They report:

In September, there were just 31 pro-Trump statements on the Big Three vs. 359 negative. In October, the number of positive statements grew to 41, while the negative statements swelled to 435.

In November, there was somewhat less coverage of the President, as political journalists raced to cover the allegations against Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore, but the ratio remained essentially unchanged: 33 positive statements vs. 320 negative statements.

Add it all up, and coverage of Trump has been 91 percent negative during the past three months. Our study of news in June, July and August found an identical rate of 91% negative, which means TV news is unchanged in its hostility toward the President.

Okay, so the media took it a little easier on Trump because they’ve had another target.  But now that the heated Alabama Senate race has been settled, the media will turns its attention back to Trump — and don’t expect the coverage to get any more positive.

The media has been apoplectic over the President and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s criticism of the media.  It seems that calling them “fake news” over and over and over has finally started to make them mad.  CNN’s Chris Cillizza says that the White House’s condemnation of the media makes him angry and is “disheartening.”  Well, that’s too bad. For far too long, the media has been lying to us, covering politicians from the left side of the political spectrum generously, and giving conservatives a bad name.  They have focused like a spotlight on minor, distracting issues and completely overlooked stories that make Democrats look bad.

I, for one, and happy that the liberal media (oh-but-I-repeat-myself) is upset.  They should be.  It’s way past time for them to start actually doing their jobs instead of carrying water for the Democratic party.
