President Joe Biden has been reading his history. Both Julius Caesar and Napoleon used the “divide and conquer” strategy, and that’s exactly what the president’s latest vaccine mandate is designed to do.

I don’t want to give Sleepy Joe too much credit. He can’t hold a candle to these legendary tyrants, but he knows that pitting Americans against one another will shift attention away from his failed presidency and give him the excuse he needs to assert even more control over We the People.

Biden’s approval ratings are in the tank. According to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll, the president’s approval rating stands at only 40% while his disapproval rating is a shocking 58%. That 18-point spread represents a historic turnaround from early in his presidency, when only 36% of Americans disapproved while about 55% approved.

To counter this disastrous decline, the Biden administration is looking for a distraction, and they’ve found one in their latest COVID-19 mandates.

Biden wants the American people to believe that these mandates are about public health. Nothing could be further from the truth. They’re 100% political.

Like all tyrants, Biden wants to turn the American population against itself. He wants vaccinated Americans distrusting and avoiding the unvaccinated. He wants unvaccinated Americans feeling ostracized, which will in turn foster even greater resentment towards the vaccinated.

If Americans are busy hating one another, they’ll stop thinking about Biden’s failed policies in Afghanistan, at the southern border, and in relation to the economy. They’ll forget about the Americans still trapped behind enemy lines. They’ll forget about the thousands of illegal immigrants invading our land, and they’ll forget about how inflation is decimating their retirement savings and making basic necessities more expensive.

That’s the “divide.” After that comes the “conquer.”

When division and resentment reach a fever pitch, violence will break out. The latest FBI crime report already shows a 29% rise in homicides in 2020, and that trend isn’t slowing down. Increasing levels of crime combined with slowing vaccination rates will form the perfect excuse for even more government overreach.

The vaccine mandates will ramp up. Federal bureaucrats will crack down on gun ownership. Financial “experts” will start to control how we spend our money and whether we can protect our assets with cryptocurrency or offshore accounts.

This might sound conspiratorial, but it’s all happening as we speak. The ATF is considering a ban on homemade firearms, and congresspeople snuck a “red flag” law into the latest military appropriations bill. The U.S. Treasury Department is “racing” towards new regulations on cryptocurrency, and a new Biden IRS rule would monitor all transactions in personal and business bank accounts over $600.

All of this is happening, conveniently enough, in the wake of Biden’s vaccine mandate.

We can’t let King Biden divide us. Vaccinated Americans must respect and understand the reasons unvaccinated Americans are hesitant. Unvaccinated Americans must accept that those who have taken the jab have good reason for doing so.

Then, we must fight against the tyranny of this administration with everything we have. We must support our governors who are suing Biden over his dictatorial policies, we must hold our elected officials accountable if they acquiesce to this overreach, and we must protect our children and grandchildren from future tyrants with an Article V Convention of States.

Biden may be taking cues from the greatest dictators in history, but Americans have experience throwing off would-be kings, and we don’t take kindly to tyrants.
