Seriously…is it really that much to ask?  It seems like basic knowledge of the Constitution and how it constrains their actions should be a prerequisite to service in Congress.  Is that off base?  Nancy Pelosi has, on more than one occasion, indicated she doesn’t know and doesn’t really care.  She is not alone in her seeming lack of knowledge about the Constitution among our elected representatives on both sides of the aisle.  Earlier this year Republicans in the House passed a bill that would have prevented us from paying Congress when there was no budget, something that is clearly Constitutionally prohibited.  We need to reimpose the Constitution upon our elected representatives.

    I heard your interview on Hugh Hewitt and was excited about your program but very disappointed in your website. Your idea of managing candidates is a good one but you need to get your act together and FAST — we MUST hold the house in 2014 and I don’t see the enthusiasm for it at present. Get going with your excellent ideas & plans!!

    Mark Meckler and I appreciate your response and engagement. Any suggestions you have regarding improving our website would be welcome as we are in the process of revamping it and we would love nothing more than to reflect your needs on our site.

    As far as engagement goes. Our role is to help engage citizens in taking back the decision making power from D.C. We don’t support nor put forward candidates. This is the job of all citizens. We hope to inspire engagement by citizens like yourselves. With enough engagement, we can collectively advance good people in politics and hold our elected officials accountable to what is good for the people; rather than providing these officials unlimited power and money to be abused without taking responsibility or consequences.
