The Demand forTrump’s Tax Returns Enters Its Ludicrous Phase
House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal requested that President Donald Trump turn over 6 years of business and personal tax returns. This morning, I appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss whether the IRS is weaponizing against conservatives again.
You might be able to guess my response.
“This is outrageous,” I said. “This is exactly what the IRS did to the tea parties. They targeted people based on their political affiliation, and it worked in 2012. By the way, the IRS had to pay a settlement in litigation brought by our organization of over $3.5 million.
So, is the IRS being weaponized against conservatives, this time against the President?
“The Democrats are doing it again. There’s no legitimate reason for this…. They’re just targeting the President. There is no law that requires the President turns over his tax returns, so the Democrats are just looking for a different way.” Watch my full response below:
