Two black men have died in Democratic donor Ed Buck’s West Hollywood apartment via overdose, though a third man survived Buck injecting him with methamphetamine on September 11.

Buck was charged with three felony counts on Tuesday, including battery causing serious injury, administering methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, and prosecutors are recommending bail be set at $4 million, the DA’s office said.
The other two men also were injected with methamphetamine, though there was insufficient evidence that Buck was responsible for either of their overdoses.
Buck was described in a legal filing as a “wealthy white man who ‘had a predatory and injurious system of soliciting Black men and watching them cling to life.’

Both Moore and another man found dead at Buck’s house, Timothy Dean, were black.
The lawsuit accuses him of wrongful death, sexual battery and assault and says he was not prosecuted “because he is white, and because Mr. Moore was Black.”
This is horrible, no matter what the ethnicity of the victims and no matter the political persuasion of the big moneyed donor.
But, as Ben Shapiro pointed out, “This would be the lead story on every news site in America if the headline said ‘Republican donor.’”
Exactly. The media has a vested interest in pushing the narrative that Trump supporters are racist. Meanwhile, this will go underreported.
It’s worse than fake news, it’s no news at all.
