This week, popular radio talk show host Mark Levin released his new book, “The Liberty Amendments” (which quickly reached #1 Amazon’s sales list), laying out his vision for limiting the federal government through an Article V Convention of States.

Last week, Citizens for Self-Governance (CSG) announced the launching of its Convention of States Project (COS), which offers a grassroots plan to implement the important ideas Mark Levin has begun to publicly advocate.

Tomorrow night, Friday August 16th, Levin is going to do a one-hour special on Sean Hannity’s show (FOX, 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PDT) talking more in-depth about his plan.  You’ll want to TUNE IN for this one folks!

It is no secret that Washington, D.C. is broken and will not fix itself.  It is up to the States and you the citizens to act!  Levin has laid out the vision. CSG’s Convention of States project is providing the solution to make that vision a reality!

Levin’s bestselling book, Liberty Amendments, is opening the eyes of many Americans to the possibility of using the power of the States, under the Constitution, to rein in the abuses of power by the federal government.

“Of all the Article V projects that have been proposed, ours is the only one that has the breadth to actually solve the core problems caused by the federal government’s persistent abuse of its power,” said Michael Farris, Senior Fellow for Constitutional Studies at CSG.

The leadership of Citizens for Self-Governance also believes grassroots mobilization is the key to calling a convention of states, and they will rely heavily on American citizens to push this project forward. Farris (founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association) Eric O’Keefe (long time political analyst, and driving force behind successful Term-Limits) and CSG President Mark Meckler (co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots) have years of experience in this arena, giving the COS project a clear advantage and heightening the chance of success.

It really is an exciting time to be alive!

About the Convention of States Project

Citizens for Self-Governance has launched the Convention of States Project (COS) for the purpose of urging and empowering state legislators to call an Article V Convention of States. The Founders gave American citizens the ability to stop the runaway train of the federal government—COS seeks to provide the people of the United States an avenue within which to use that power.
