Another disturbing development in the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal reveals that a Clinton Foundation donor somehow ended up serving on the government’s International Security Advisory Board, which advised then-Secretary Clinton on nuclear weapons and other arms issues.

That donor’s name is Rajiv K. Fernando. His qualifications to sit on the ISAB board alongside nuclear scientists and members of Congress? According to ABC News, his “technological know-how.”

Fernando is an electronic stocks trader who was head of Chopper Trading at that time. A wealthy man, Fernando has given millions to Democratic campaigns including President Obama and is listed on the Clinton Foundation website as a donor of between $1 million and $5 million, as noted in the report.

ABC News was given the internal e-mails thanks to Citizens United, which obtained copies through a Freedom of Information Act request — only after two years of litigation. The e-mails show that ABC reporters were already on the case in 2011 and applying pressure for answers as to who this Fernando was and why he was on such a sensitive intelligence board.

After reviewing the e-mails, ABC discovered that Cheryl Mills, then-chief of staff to Sec. Clinton, insisted that Fernando’s name be added to the list of consideration among other highly qualified candidates. It is stated that there were a few e-mails directly from Clinton that only hinted at her possible involvement in his selection. But in the end, there is no answer as to who made the final decision.

“A State Department official who worked with the advisory board couldn’t immediately come up with a justification for Fernando serving on the panel,” the report adds.

While on the board, Fernando was privy to top secret information regarding nuclear capabilities and risks around the world, including Pakistan and Russia. All the while, his fellow board members “had no idea who he was,” according to the investigation.

Clinton’s staff did all they could to suppress this information from going public and even stalled ABC’s reporting. But thanks to their persistence, Fernando resigned “suddenly” from the board just two days after ABC launched their investigation. He gave reasons that he was needing to devote more time to his company and the board was taking too much of his “focus” and “energy” away from his stock company.

Even today, the State Department can’t answer many questions about Fernando and why he was invited to join the board as someone with zero experience in international matters of security. Among the list of all former ISAB members that the State Department publishes to its website, Fernando’s name is strangely absent.

It has been proven time and again that wherever Hillary Clinton goes, corruption surely follows. That’s the only explanation for one of her donors appearing out of nowhere on a top-secret panel.

Fernando now sits on several “non partisan” policy boards and other Washington think tanks. He was a major contributor to Clinton’s latest presidential bid, even hosting a fundraiser for her at his Chicago home. ABC News states that the millionaire tech mogul will serve as a super delegate at the Democratic National Convention this summer and has committed to supporting Clinton.

Stories like this are the very reason government corruption and overreach must be reigned in and power restored back to the people. If Hillary has any chance of becoming the next president, things will only get worse.

Right now, more than ever, we need the Convention of States.
